Sri Ramana Maharshi
A child and a Sage are similar in a way. Incidents interest a child only so long as they last. It ceases to think of them after they have passed away. So then it is apparent that they do not leave any impression on the child and it is not affected by them mentally. So it is with a Sage.
Some have found the properties and effects of tiger's skin, wool, deer skin etc. and related them in Yogic Books. They correspond to conductors and non-conductors of magnetism etc. But it is all immaterial for the Path of knowledge (jnana yoga). Posture really means location and steadfastness in the Self. It is internal. The others refer to external positions.
Brahmacharya is living in Brahman. A real brahmachari, that is one who lives in Brahman, finds bliss in the Brahman which is the Self. Why then should you look for other sources of happiness? Celibacy is certainly an aid to realization among so many other aids.
